MARYLAND IMPLANT SOCIETY

Our mission is to provide an educational venue for Society members to earn federally and state required continuing education. The long-range goals of the program are to: increase knowledge and competency among participant health care individuals; inform health care professionals of changes in regulations, which will help them to be in compliance with state and federal laws ( ADA, OSHA, AGD etc.); and to expose health care professionals to new advances in patient care. The Maryland Implant Society provides society members with applicable, convenient continuing education opportunities. We arrange lecturers to present on relevant, remarkable topics which the dental professional can bring back into their practice the next day. Our lectures are conveniently located in the DC Metropolitan area at a venue which facilitates open communication and collaboration between colleagues. The Maryland Implant Society is designated as an Approved PACE Program Provider by the Academy of General Dentistry.  The formal continuing education programs of this program provider are accepted by AGD for Fellowship, Mastership and membership maintenance credit.  Approval does not imply acceptance by a state or provincial board of dentistry or AGD endorsement.   The current term of approval extends from 6/1/2015 to 5/31/2018.   AGD/PACE #310543
